Act Now! SUPPORT HR1432, a federal bill that would make COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers liable for injury caused by their products.

Since the introduction of COVID-19 vaccines, many people believe that they have been seriously injured from these products. Yet current federal law gives the manufacturers a “get out of jail free card” when it comes to normal products liability.

  • At present, injured persons are not allowed to sue in a normal court. Instead, they may seek damages from the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP) process, but the odds of ever receiving compensation are very slim because of the Program restrictions.

  • HR1432 is the Let Injured Americans Be Legally Empowered Act, or the “LIABLE Act.” Under this bill no federal law may give manufacturers of a COVID-19 vaccine any immunity from liability for damage caused by such vaccine.

  • This would be a huge change in the ability of injured persons to seek compensation. HR1432 is retroactive, meaning people injured since 2020 will be able to seek redress. This bill is now pending in the House Committee on the Judiciary.
