Join a Group and Pass a Safe Harbor Law in Your State!
Are you a practitioner of complementary or alternative healing and want to know that you can practice freely? Do you access these types of healing and want to make sure you will be able to keep doing so? Eleven states have Safe Harbor laws that protect complementary and alternative healthcare practitioners such as herbalists, homeopaths, traditional naturopaths, Ayurveda practitioners, energy healers, wellness consultants, and culturally specific healing practitioners from getting shut down and even charged with crimes simply for helping their clients, friends, and families.
Groups are actively working to pass Safe Harbor laws and could use your help!
If you live in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Oklahoma, groups worked to introduce Safe Harbor bills in 2026 and plan to introduce the bills again for the 2027 legislative session. In Florida and Oregon, groups have formed that are looking for sponsors for their Safe Harbor bills. NHFA and NHFC will support you
